Assistance for passengers with special needs
An all-inclusive parking service is offered to passengers with special needs. Should you be travelling alone you may leave your car on the terminal forecourt and proceed to the information desk in the terminal. Our staff will assist with unloading your luggage, check-in and will park your car. On your return please again notify the information desk and they will arrange to have your car collected and your luggage loaded.

Basic information

All our check-in counters, security checks and waiting rooms are on the lowest level of the airport. In case you want to enter the second floor, we offer an elevator right in the center of the terminal.

We would like to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You can find all the information you need on our website.

Registration prior to flight

The passengers with special needs should mention this during booking or 48 hours prior to departure to the airline or the travel agency.


Accompaniment for single travelers at airport

As long as you have mentioned the need of support during booking, the airline will forward all the information to the airport staff. The airport offers wheelchairs and wheelchair accessible vehicles.

Parking spaces

Dedicated parking spaces are available in front of the terminal (maximum parking time 24h). If you want to park your car for a longer period of time, we advice you to contact our assistance for parking.

 

Taxi- and transfer enterprises

We also offer a comfortable shuttle-service which takes you from your home to the airport and backwards.The vehicles stop right in front of the terminal.

 

 

Arrival at the airport for passengers with special needs

If you don't have a car, you can usethe shuttle service. It will take you right from your home to the airport and back home.

Service-Point

You can book the staff from the airport to support you at the airport before travel. Moreover there is the opportunity to use the service-points at our airport to contact our staff.

 

Hints for travel preparation

Please contact your travel agency or your airline in case you have any questions concerning planning your trip. There you will receive all the information you need. We recommend to notice the following:

 

  • Please contact your doctor before you go on the trip. The doctor will let you know about all particularities and risks and recommend methods.
  • Ask your airline if you are in need of an accompaniment.
  • Contact your travel agency to talk about your special needs to receive all the support you need at departure, during the flight and at arrival.
  • Check if you need any medical certificates.
  • We advice to contact the airline one day prior to departure to check if all conditions are considered.
